Project Description:
Portable Bluetooth speaker. Walnut was shopsawn for a four sided bookmatch. The front is Bookmatched Karelian birch burl. The white inlay is crushed coral that I collected on my honeymoon in Bora Bora. Finished with shellac, polyurethane, and carnauba wax.
Design Goals:
I wanted to have something that’s very classy and accents the beauty of contrasting woods. This was a gift for my wife, so the coral inlay was a great way to add some personal nostalgia.
