Concept
I wanted to start small so I chose the mini monitor knock-downs and hiwave 3 1/2 speakers. I already had two crossovers from some satellite 3 1/2’s that I thought would be perfect. I was right. I lined the insides with foam and some poly in the middle and I have played tones down to 80 hertz clearly. These hiwaves sound fantastic and what a bargain. I now have a new hobby thanks to Parts Express (don’t tell my wife).

Enclosure Design
Mini monitor knock-downs, primed and painted with a 2 parts to one gloss black and polyurethane, both oil based.

Amplifier/Crossover Configuration
2 x 25 watt Sure amplifier with rotary volume control

Enclosure Assembly
Brads and gorilla glue

Conclusion
Great sound, awesome full range. Bass is impressive for such a small speaker.
