I’ve seen plenty of laminated MDF speaker boxes made but this one has got to be the most unique one yet. What was your process for obtaining that interesting looking finish on the MDF case?
Looks great. I made one similar using kerfing on piece of pine. If i was to redo mine, i would have mounted the face plate on front and used a flush bit on a router to tidy up. Did you cut one piece and use a router for the rest?
So the finish on the case was a white primer then one coat each of dark brown, cream white then the Tiffany blue. I sanded thru the layers to give it that she’d look.
Were there large cracks in the front wood panel that you filled with blue epoxy or are those painted on? I like the look.
So you left one large enclosure for both left and right? How does that effect the sound?
