solid Cherry 13/16″ with walnut keys. custom leather baffle and handle. the box is tuned to 55hz

glue and miter keys

crossover point around 4500

Conclusion:
pretty happy with the sound and looks.

About the Designer:
self taught woodworker for the last 30 years, turned architect, wishing i was woodworking full time.

      Hey Bob. the inside dimensions are 5″H x 15″L x 4.5″D
      it looks a lot bigger than that, but that is due to the wood i used and the bevel on the front to protect the speakers if the box flipped over. i think the final outside dimensions ended up being 6.5″ x 6.5″ x 16.5″ or close to that.

      Thanks Tom, i am very happy with it. I built this as a gift to my sister and she says its perfect in every way.. who am i to argue! i just actually bought all the components to build a second one i was happy with it so much.

      Hey Jeff, my sister, who i built this for, says she runs it almost every day and gets about 8hrs of playtime with just the single KAB BE board. i did build it to accept 2 boards but didn’t end up putting in both.
