Nothing smooths the response of a compression driver in the near field like an acoustic lens. I bet they sound great. Lenses are too fragile to tour, but for short throws in installed systems they work well. Obviously, they are more difficult to make than fiberglass bells.
The lenses are made of metal. Not easy to put together at this size. 1/5 scale
Those are 3 inch woofers.
