Enclosure Design
The parquet top is made from 3/4″ thick maple & mahogany glued together and then attached to an underlying MDF sheet. The sides are 1/2″ walnut. The end pieces were constructed by cutting and hollowing out a poplar log. The sub came from a Dayton Sub-80 8″ HT that he recieved as a birthday gift. Approximate Dimensions: 12″ wide, 16″ height w/legs, 24″ length.

About The Designer
Tom Nelson – 16 years old, full time student at The Hill School in Pottstown, PA. Last year Tom built a set of TriTrix MTM TL Speakers. This winter he was looking for a more challenging project so he designed and built this Parquet Table with down-firing subwoofer.
