Finally decided not to go for the front vented design due to the larger dimensions. Has now normal backport with plastic tube. The CNC router is a cheap China 6040Z-S65 model with some minor modifications (USB control interface).

I recently joined a makerspace that has a large CNC router. What program did you use to make the CAD file? Was it difficult? is it something that is downloadable/shareable?
    Thanks in advance!

You mention `easy to duplicate’. Please let me know if you would be prepared to cut a second pair? I am building an amp and eying this speaker design, but am lousy at making anything look nice!
    cheers
